If you dont mind me asking, from what seller did you purchase your header on Ebay? Mine is cracking and I think I need a new budget header!

So I bought one from that vendor. It looks great on the outside with thick flanges. Big problem though on the inside I'm thinking. Here is a picture looking in the collector end. It looks like they didnt cut off the primary pipes before welding it together. This restricts it from 2.5" down to about 1.75". No way I am running it as is. I am hoping I can cut a section of the pipe open, remove the restriction and have it re-welded. Did yours look like this?

You would just need to take off your cat or test pipe and look up in the header. Not something you would just do for fun though...

You get what you pay for... obviously a Chinese header for $80 is not going to be as good as one dyno proven and made in japan or the USA.... :-(

So return it, I don't see how this is an issue. If the seller refuses, dispute it and your CC company will happily refund your money.

Its $80, not a big deal, buy another one from a different vendor.
