I am looking at this too, buying one already ceramic coated are the insides likely to be better quality?

DC is a pretty established brand, they're cheaper but not the best

I got one a few weeks ago ($97 now was the cheapest I could find). I had a cheapie ebay header on my Prelude and it lasted fine and had no issues. Then I had a Skunk 2 on my Civic Si which was awesome. Just didn't want to spend close to a grand on a header for the S2k for minimal gains. Looking forward to putting it on soon!

Also got an Invidia 63mm test pipe to install at the same time. That should actually net me some gains.

This thread is really old. Does anyone have experience w/ the various cheapo headers currently available on Ebay? Are they all the same?

Speed Daddy Header - $97 Shipped

No Name Header - $98 Shipped

DNA Header - $99 Shipped

E Parts GoGo (lamest name award) - $98 Shipped

I could go on and on.... there are a ton of them on Ebay.

I wonder if these are worth the extra dough (still cheap)?

Top Speed Header - $235

OBX Header - $149 Shipped

Ive been spending alot of time reading up on different headers.. From what I learned, I wouldn't waste any money on these man. Unless ur tuning ur boltons ur Prolly losing hp with these. The oem header has shown to be very good.

These seem like they have treated you guys well for what they cost. In my experience though, you get what you pay for. These are probably fine for a simple bolt on aesthetic purpose. You could probably get more power from a name-brand and it will be a higher quality/longer lasting product.

My personal favorite, the Skunk2 Alpha:

I have a flashpro, so I tune for my bolt ons. Im more curious than anything and would be doing it for aesthetic reasons (if at all). I figured it may be helpful if anyone has experience with recent Ebay header offerings.

No, it will not. I've never owned a header on any of my cars where the stock heat shield could be used.
