yes the SOS twin carbon is expesive. However you get what you pay for. It ran me $2395 plus $30 for shipping. and i doubt very much they will discount it. good luck.

dont go CC stage 2. mine ended up blowing up a spring on the clutch. dont know if it was the install or what but it basically went BOOM when shifting from 4th to 5th. the pedal also felt wierd and it was all wierd. now i got a ACT HDSS and its much much better.

I hate this thread, so many good/bad experiences I'm not sure what to think.

If you guys spending over $1600 for a clutch I don't think there is anything better than Tilton.
Exedy makes very good product. I especially like hyper single for higher power cars and their stage 1 and stage 2 for na cars. The J's racing s2000 I drive for time attack has hyper single. It has seen 3 years of competition and it is in very good condition.

Disclaimer, I'm sponsored by Exedy, but I won't want their sponsorship if I don't think they are the best product for me.
In racing you have to be really good in all aspect to be successful. Recognize that you can't do everything yourself. You have to surround yourself with good people that able to help. I can say proudly that all our sponsor contributed in to our winning ways.

My SPEC stage 2 buzzes like crazy. It's held well and had no trouble with over 400 whp, but the clutch buzz is enough that I'm ready to buy a different clutch.

Just bought SOS sport clutch w ULFW, absolutely love it. Probly could get the FW from somewhere cheaper, it's a compclutch product. But it's also worth mentionIng that there is NO CLUTCH BUZZ...

I got the cc stage 4 . Great clutch . It feels wierd at first but youll get a hang of it . It has a lot of bite which is why if I could do it again I will go stage 2 because I do alot of daily driving , its manageable but its a pain in stop and go traffic . But in the highway this clutch is a treat . But you don't daily drive your car so I would recommend the stage 4
