I want to wire a 12v lighter socket under the dash somewhere to the passenger side where the mesh net is, wheres the best power supply and ground for this please?

 

My vote goes for behind the radio, plus you can run the wires out of the side above the net!

Ground it to the bracket right behind it and get power from the fuse block under the driver dash

 

Did the same thing for me and my buddy's s2ks a couple years back

I'll third / fourth this. I even went so far as to get an OEM "filler cap" for the socket when not in use. Looks factory, hot all the time for running a Go-Pro, charging a phone or running a GPS. Plus, since it's on the passenger side the wires are their problem.

The OEM location is not ideal.

 

This is the best power source inside the cabin.
