Hey Rob! So it is known, I could not have done it without you. Not that it is really hard to do, but that I am a mechanical rube. Rob generously led me thru it and I didn't even have to go to New Jersey.

The hardest part for me was taking the bumper off. Like everything I take off that car, it seems to pop loose just before the plastic shatters. Harrowing. Otherwise, I would emphasize care in cutting the vent out. Frankly, I am not sure it is even possible to avoid, but cutting it without marking the paint in the bumper is pretty tough. I wound up with a few paint wounds around the lens.

Lastly, still haven't found the right spot for the switch. Like some, I could convert the rear defrost button. I never use it anyway, but some might. For now it is stuffed behind the dash, velcro'd, until I think of something.

I dunno why you guys would hesitate doing this mod. Inexpensive, pretty fun to do, and once again, you will not have those ridiculous fake vents any longer.

i was thinking of doing this too... 1 question though. when it comes to wiring the up and running a switch to turn them on, couldn't you tap the parking light power wire... so when you turn your lights one click just the fogs and corners will come on.... cause that would be alot easier i think... i understand why people go with the switch cause you can turn on/ off whenever but i would like them to stay on whenever my lights are on ya know

I think the odyssey set up so far looks like the best choice based on looks. It has an oem appearance on the ap1s'. the write up and pics by Rick are worth looking at for those interested however, my own questions about that install is what year are those lights since there are 4 kits available thru H&A and what do the mods to the 'b' harness entail?

I went with the Odyssey Fogs as well but retrofitted a hid projector unit into each. I wanted to use the fogs to illuminate the side of the road when I drive at night (lots of deer). This is why I didn't wire it to the parking lights. Right now I just have a switch but the next stage is to wire them to the passenger window power on/off switch. That may take some ingenuity. Here are links to two pics:

Also mine were for the 2002 odyssey with leather. Here is the description on the H&A website:

"Fog Lights - Model Year 2002 only
Genuine Factory Honda Odyssey fog lights. Precision optics provide a highly controlled light pattern to enhance driver's visibility in dense fog, rain or snow. Plug in connector requires no wire splicing or wire cutting for better reliability. Includes switch
Can't be installed in models with Heated Seats and subwoofer"

I don't know if other years will work, but these did for me. If anyone has other info on what years work, please chime in.
