AP2 Wing Where to Buy? Drilling + Springs Necessary?
I'm looking to buy the AP2 wing and put it on my '02 S2K. Right now it doesn't have a spoiler so no holes drilled. I have a few q's:
1. Where to buy it? I'd assume Honda doesn't make them, I can't find any on the marketplace, so I'm thinking maybe one of these "factory-style" ones online but not sure which are legit and match the oem. Here's a few I found but there are a lot: https://www.ebay.com/itm/141756317627?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=0dx_Ulh3QlK&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=vWXkbd5bQr S&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

2. Do I have to drill holes? I'd assume I do, since its a wing and not a spoiler, but I'd love to keep my factory AP1 lid undrilled in case I ever decide to take off the wing. I've heard of people buying a separate lid but they're pretty expensive from my research.
3. Do I need the springs for the trunk? I've read up that the trunks are almost identical and that it will fit without a problem but the springs are different since the wing is heavier. Anyone know if its necessary to buy the springs or if I'm ok with the ones on my '02?

These are purely cosmetic but you know that. I think one my wife's Civic had an OEM spoiler like this. One of things it spoiled was the view in the rear view mirror. The photos in the link you posted show it screwed to the trunk lid which requires drilling and making this a permanent modification. The stronger springs are only necessary to aid lifting and perhaps keeping the trunk lid open.
The equally useless but still offering some cosmetic appeal rear "ducktail" spoiler is light enough to not require springs or screws and is held on by double sided tape. They're less than half the cost of the "wing." Mine matched the body color right out of the box and has been on since 2014. Yeah I know it's purely cosmetic.

Thank you for the response! Ya I'm definitely only doing for cosmetic. I like the wing personally so I want to do that- thanks for mentioning the rear view mirror block, didn't think about that (still ganna do it lol). Ya the ones I listed say drilling, trying to figure out if anyone has a way or has done it without drilling but I doubt it

I'd highly recommend drilling the 2 holes for the wing. Lip spoiler could get away with just double sided tape, but no way I'd risk the wing with just tape.
