Default blurry right HID headlight

hey guys i tried to search for this but came up short ...

so my left HID light is very crisp, and the right one is blurry and hazy at its cut off on a wall. I am curious why this is happening and how to fix this. could it be that i just need to get new HID bulbs? or possibly something more complicated with the horizontal positioning of my right head lights.

Thanks in advance

Someone else brought this up the other day. Not sure if this helps or not.

Mine, I believe is doing something similar. I dont know if baking the headlights (properly) damages the lens or not... But it seems as if my passenger light doesn't produce the color on the cutoff that the driver one does and it is not as pronounced

Any input would be appreciated, do I need new bulbs?

A blurry cutoff can sometimes be caused from the bulb not being seated completely flush with the projector. The clips holding it down can become loose over time or if you have recently changed bulbs it might not have been installed back into the projector correctly.

I would take the cap off the back of the headlight and see if the bulb looks or feels like it is loose or not first.

If you have never opened your headlights, the problem probably isn't inside the headlight. I would check the light bulb, ensure your head lights are clean from the outside, smudges can cause a blurry cutoff. If that doesn't work you could open them up and check the projector. Baking the headlight wont damage the lens, its made of glass. You could potentially damage something else, though.

ill check the bulb when i get a chance...

i guess maybe my headlights could use some polishing, maybe that would help my cause. Does anybody recommend anything that would get rid of any haze?

and perhaps upgrade from the stock bulb, any suggestions with that? i was wanting to go 6000k anyways...

thanks again

Stock Philips bulbs are the best and have the most light output. You will get less output with 6000K bulbs, they wouldn't be an "upgrade". HID bulbs do fade and lose output over time so you could be due for a new set.
