Bride Vios III install question
why would a roll cage be any different then the stock roll hoops in the event of flipping the car... If you sit lower then the stock roll hoops IMO that is whats going to absorb any damage not your head / spine ..
The stock roll hoops arent for show .. a friend of mines uncle who totaled his s had flipped his and was fine (saved by the roll hoops) although he had his stock seats.. So these are functional roll hoops i just dont see the need for a roll cage if you sit lower then the hoops

Looks like you're right, bummer... $600 + rails for a real 1 is pretty tough to stomach, wonder what the quality/fit of the "fake" is like? Havent come across any used ones though and 90% of what's on ebay looks fake too and/or only a pair...
yea, these seats arent cheap and used is def. rare

I would rec. a seatbelt extension. The oem belt receptor will not fit through the side cutout nor will you be able to leave it against the tunnel because the fit is tight/deep so you wont be able to reach the "eject" button.
Across the shoulder is fine, but you'll end up wearing out the seat too. You can shell out more bucks for a roll bar/harness or shell out for seat belt extension and a new seat in a few years..
Btw the seat is very comfortable unless you have an awkward build. I think you should fit fine/very close to tight on it though. Have you bought a set up yet?
