Clutch problems

Default Clutch problems

My OEM clutch has been feeling very loose lately when i push it in and all my gears are very hard to put in have to push with major force to get them in and even trying to put the car in reverse it is hard,figuring its time for a new clutch already im guessing thats the problem? shouldnt be my mster slave cylinder or nything im hoping? Or could it be i just ned to change my Transmission oil & everything will be fine?

If the pedal loose, It might be your master or slave cylinder. That would explain why it's hard going into gear or why you have to push it down right away.

I would check for any leaks in the system. Bleed the system if possible.

Yea i was thinking maybe i just have to change the transmission fluid since im not the first owner i dont know when the last owner changed it , ill try an change that tomoro along with my oil change,let it settle and see how that goes.

It couldn't hurt, but I would really get the hydraulics checked out.

The way your driving with it now makes it really hard on the tranny.

I would stay away for a n ebay clutch kit. I'd also recommend a solid disk if not the oem. 4 and 6 puck disks are very noisy

check the fluid level of the clutch, mine is an 01 and the master is starting to go, a sign of it is losing fluid and on the inside of the car, behind the clutch pedal is how you can tell. Look at the location the clutch pedal press's into the Master and see if the master cylinder is wet, if so the master is leaking and needs replaced. If replacing that you might as well do the Slave too
