I too am looking at swapping the suspension. I either want to do PSS9s or put Konis on with my Eibach springs. Are the PSS9s worth the extra money over just changing to konis? It would really only be about a 400 difference betweent the two.

I don't think I would spend over $1400 for coilovers unless I was building a car for the track only. I probably average 90 miles a day on the highway so I need something that wouldn't be too harsh, but adjustable at the same time. KW 2's or PSS9's fit the bill.

You can get used KW3's for that, they can be made pretty plush.

Or new PSS9s. They are even more plush due to the softer springs, but they are still a good upgrade and better for track days than OEM due to the rebound adjustment.

dont go through vivid racing, they are way overpriced and not worth it....search one of the sponsors and start asking them what there prices are...id go with ksports...from previously running them on my past Ap1 DD and tracking them i was very impressed with the quality and performance of the coilovers. You can also have them built for your liking/stiffness from ksport....

Alot of people say that ksports are not good quality, but yet none of them have even experienced them on there s2k and come to a conclusion based on people who have bought $3,000 coilovers...obviously $3,000 coilovers are better......

All in all you can contact phoenixr34 on here and he can get you a pair, he races for ksport here locally in az....I bought them for $650 and had the springs done to my preferences.

thats just my .5 cents from an experienced ksport driver. Good luck and if you have any question shoot me a pm and i will gladly answer all you have.

Wow! Thanks for all the responses guys. As far as budget I would like to be under $1500 as far as budget.

The idea of running like KSports or anything doesn't scare me away or anything as long as reviews are nice and honest from people. Im trying to be honest with myself here I mean it will be a DD for a majority of the time.

Would I like to go out for a track day here and there...HELL YEAH...but im probably not going to become a competitor or get too into it. More for pleasure here and there. So there is no reason in my mind to go crazy. I will start looking more into the KW and the PSS9's from what everyone is saying though but keep the info coming it helps very much.

I've been contemplating KWV2/V3, PSS9, Buddy Club Racing Spec, and the GC/Koni setup. Same thing, mostly street driving, maybe some autox here and there.

Have you looked at these? http://www.ground-control-store.com/produc...hp/II=752/CA=76. It's a complete setup so you don't have to reuse the stock top mounts like PSS9 or KW. Cheapest I've seen is ~$1200. Lots of people have used the combo here but not a lot of reviews on the complete setup. I'm pretty sure that's the route I'm going.
