Default comptech ice box

I installed my new comptech icebox intake last week, I had a and still have a problem with the CF lid that rub... I don't know how you call it, it is basically where the strut bar goes, anyway is there any modification or adjustment I should do?

Grind off the parts that rub, that's what I had to do with mine.
I had to shave a bit off where the hood prop goes as well.

mine rubs as well.
It got worse when I put some padding between the carbon fibre lid and the box itself to dampen some vibration noices.

To me it feels like the entire box should've been about 1/2 inch lower, but oh well...

You guys aren't talking about grinding down the cf lid?

Yes I was talking about grinding down the cf. It's not that much, a few mm is probably enough.

the CF lid rubs on the suspension tower. I noticed the lid doesn't match completely with the box, it is just a little off probably 2-3mm like Flanders said.
See if I can make some adjustment on the weekend.
