Slight issue wiith Comptech Icebox, help!
I have the Comptech icebox (the newest version so its supposed to fit better) and I have a few issues I was wondering if anyone had a quick fix for.
1. The lid of the box and the hood of the car touch which maje a scuff mark on the lid of the icebox
2. The worst...the 3 screws that hld the lid in place often get loose and the one closest to the front of the car loosens to the point that it fall out! With the loosening the box makes a nasty rattling noise at a certain RPM range.
Any one else have these issues and have a quick fix for em?

yeah, one of my screws fell out so i found another screw that was a little longer and screwed that in. I also got these fuzzy stickies to stick on the hood so that the
CF lid doesn't scratch.
It seems to be solid now. hope this helps.

when you mounted the ice box did you push down hard while you tightened as stated in the directions?
I got the rattle noise too. I used some crush washers and it went away

not the lid.. the box.
When you first install it, the directions say to push down hard on the box while you tighten otherwise it will sit high. If you wanna try again, take your lid off, take your filter out. Push down hard on the box and tighten. Mine has never rubbed, so it does work.
