I've been quoted a wallet busting $3600 by the UK distributor of ViPec to buy it and get it installed and initial tune so I can drive the car away.

I'm picking myself up from the floor.
And MoTeC is about $5000.

How much is an AEM EMS with custom wiring harness for DBW going to cost in the UK?

Or the Hondata...but you'll lose cruise control with that option.

To clear up any confusion, the UK immobilizer was not the problem. infact. the UK ecu was not even used during testing... my test ecu i brought turns out the immobilizer was not turned off (oops).

doing more testing at the euro meet.

Btw, Im curious for you to explain why you'd prefer the S/C over the Turbo setup?

Thanks Mase. Part of my worry with Turbo is that before 4-5k RPM you're really underpowered, at least that's what I've seen from Dynos of Turbo cars.

Ideally, I'm hoping to see a nice linear improvement across the rev range so that I don't feel like I have to be constantly fighting to stay on boost. S/C looks like it will do exactly that while Turbo seems like I'll have to be above 5k all the time. Am I wrong?
