Difference between OEM shift knobs?titanium vs stock

The reason why I posted is that at the time I did not know if the knob was ti or aluminum. After research and speaking with the owner of that aluminum knob (it was advertised as Ti and i was going to buy it)he confirmed that he was misinformed and that it was indeed a stock aluminum knob off his my01. Also from what I have researched, it seems that Honda released TWO versions of the titanium knob. One has a dark silver color to it that is similar to the skunk 2 shift knob( grey metallic with no spun)and the other version being a polished grey which is what the owner above has posted. I have seen both versions and can only conclude that 2 shades were released by honda.

Ok, BlackBerry cameras are just for show so these pics are not the best.
This image shows the Honda Titanium Knob on the left and the stock 2000-2001 Aluminum Knob on the right.
This is the box a new Honda Accessory Titanium Shift Knob should come in.
Beware of Ebay items... a lot of them are misleading.

They don't come polished like that. Probably from use. Or got one polished for some reason. Normally come in a very similar brushed finish as the oem one.

this is the other version I was talking about, notice how it is neither polished or aluminum looking but looks like it has been sprayed with a darker shade of grey that covers the "spun" brushed aluminum texture.

I have never seen the polished version, in that case if NDAZONE has it, it's one of the very few. I was not aware of any other version for the S2000 except for the dark grey shade.

Question! Since the Ti knob is only about half an ounce heavier than the leather AP1 knob, would you still be able to feel the difference? Is there still a point in getting the Ti knob for the increased weight? The original all-aluminum knob weighs about 100 grams less so I guess the difference would be more noticeable.
If anyone have experience going from AP1 leather knob to the ti Knob, I would like to hear your feedback on the switch please. Thanks!
