Default Dyno

Just got back from the dyno and Im happy to say I gained some HP. Here is a list of my mods:
Ebay header,Crankvents(homemade), Invidia test pipe, Prototype exhaust(bought from member pitstop), AEM V2 CAI,VAFCII and Exedy stage 1 clutch.

With the VAFC set at 0 I put down 211 hp, Mikey from pro-function said AP1 normally put down around 180-190. After some tuning we got the Peak HP up to 222.3 hp . Needless to say I am very happy with the results I got from the tuning session .

Im not saying all ebay headers are good but I am happy with the result I got from the one I bought, the runner openings were slightly larger than OEM but the runners were the exact same length as the OEM header. The collecter was 1/4" larger than stock and the header weighed just under 12lb.

I plan on scaning the dyno later tonight. I have a ton of packing to do, were leaving for the dragon in the morning. Thanks for reading I cant wait for the feedback.

Why Mugen header are proven to be a quality product. I just anted to put together a budget NA car. From the header to the exhaust and used VAFCII I spent under 600 dollars. Labor as free.

Too bad we still don't know what the header makes after all this. I make 225whp on a dynojet wile still using the factory header so this thread just isn't helping much. Would have been nice for you to have done the vafc tune and dyno, then bring it back with your new header as the only change, that would have made a bit more sense. I doubt it, but for all you know you could be making 225 whp too if you still had your factory header back on. We don't know what this ebay header is netting.
