ECM IMMOBILIZER swapping possible?
Situation: Swapping in an 03 ecu into my 02 car because my o2 heateer circuit isnt functioning anymore.
Question: Can I desolder my old immobilzer chip from my 02 and solder it into the 03 ecu?
Concern: I don't want a new CEL to pop up because of a incomplete swap. I've heard of people removing the Immobilzer chips alltogether and having a CEL for the immobilzer circuit pop up. Will I run into any problems?>
Has anybody ever done this before?
Is there ANY WAY i can temporarily bypass the immobilzer for troubleshooting purposes? I DO NOT have the matching key for this new ECU and I don't want to reprogram new keys until after I confirm that this ECU fixes my problems.

Won't work. The daughter board is only the radio. The codes are in the cpu.
The S2000 ECU Cpu is not re-writeable.
