i highly recommend installing the header on a lift.
after searching through previous owners experiences i found out that it is in fact easier to install the header by removing the motor mount.
the motor mount is really easy to remove 4 bolts hold the motormount bracket to the block and one bolt holds the bracket to the crossmember.
when i put in my berk header i completely removed the header including the bracket and base plate (motor mount bushing). removing it is pretty straightforward- make sure you re-torque the bolts to spec upon re assembling everything, the header has plenty of space if you do so. oh and you have to remove the heatshield first as it gets in the way when your trying to remove the header nuts where it mounts to the head.
pm me if you have anymore questions.

If you put it up pretty high on jack stands it shouldnt be a problem. I put my Berk header on while it was on stands and didnt have much trouble as long as o have room to maneuver the header around from underneath.
Obviously a lift would make it really easy, but just know its not a big deal if you go the jackstand route either.

i didnt install mine myself, but brian @ berk (who installed mine) told me if i ever had to remove mine for some reason to just jack the car up really high. you just have to work the angle's to get it up in there.
