Default Gauges

Hey guys,

Just a question on gauges. I was planning on using an defi advance zd but am not sure anymore. I like the look of gauges. What gauges would people recommend. I wanted analogue style. Also would like to buy all the gear to install from the same place. I have never done this so can anyone help me with what I need exactly.
I will be installing a greddy circuit spec oil cooler also.

What do I need and where can I purchase from.
Thanks heaps guys.
Cheers

I am looking into doing gauges as well and the three I think would be most beneficial are Oil temp, water temp, and oil pressure. Havnt done much research but a quick google showed me glowshift.com which has an oil filter adapter that has inputs for the gauge oil temp and pressure senders without having to drill into your oil pan, etc.

I have a set of Defi Racer gauges in a SOS pillar pod. What I like about them is that they don't require a control unit so installation is fairly simple. My only gripe is that the stock wire that comes with the oil pressure gauge is a tad short. It would probably be fine if the car was RHD, but state side, with the pod on the left side I needed a longer cable to get to the sender location. Defi sells an extension for $$, so I just snipped them and extended them myself fairly easy. For aesthetics I removed the black bezel, it just pops off, so there is just the silver accent ring which matches very nicely with the 2002 black interior which has silver accents around the tweeter speakers. Flows nicely IMHO.

Prior to that I had ProSports. You get what you pay for. The boost gauge would randomly freak out. The oil sender died after 1 year of use. Ditched them for Defi and never been happier.

I highly recommend SPA gauges. Just put on my oil/water temp (they are 2 in 1 gauges) and they work great. multiple color variations, overall nice design. the prices seem steep but you're getting what you paid for plus it's two gauges.

you can get them at scienceofspeed.com
