Why not just buy the OEM filter and not worry about trying to buy some JDM stuff? If these really are made by Fram, then I certainly dont want it.

 

the hamp filters i use are made in japan. i had no idea that there were hamp filters made in usa.

 

Filtech has made some Honda filters in the USA, coud be made by them as well.

 

I have 3 HAMP filters I got from Type One awhile back, all are labeled with part number H1540-RTA-505, 1 made by Toyo Roki, similar to current filter you should get from a Honda dealership for the S2000 15400-PCX-004, both made in Japan.

2 of the HAMP filters are the exact same part number but made by Filtech and Assembled in the USA. Both look very similar internally from what i can see, with the filtech I see orange through the bypass holes and on the Toyo Roki grey, other than that they seem very similar.
