Yes. The authentic Mugen top comes with a spring reducer for the trunk so it limits the travel so it doesn't hit the top.

[QUOTE=Chris_Lum;24216845]There is no equal to the quality of an OEM top. The OEM aluminum top will not flex, will always have the best air-tight seal when compared to CF or FG, and includes a fully lined interior to match the OEM s2000 interior.QUOTE]

I have been an S2000 owner since 1999. I have had 3 OEM hardtops. I have 3 friends that have had or have Mugen CF hardtops and have driven all three of those cars.

Chris_Lum is absolutely right. The OEM hardtop is clearly head and shoulders above ALL OTHERS. While I no longer want a hardtop (only used it 5% of the time) the OEM would be the ONLY on that I would buy. ALL OTHERS PALE IN COMPARISON. If you go to the 3:50 minute point on this video and look at the hand construction of the OEM aluminum top, you can get an idea of what those of us who advocate the OEM hardtop are talking about.

OEM every day. I traded my authentic Mugen for an OEM straight up and haven't regretted it one bit for a few reasons: fit and finish, build quality, rear visibility, actual glass window, interior finish, defrost etc etc. Last but not least, I track my car and you can't see shit out of the Mugen. It's an accident waiting to happen our there with that thing.
