i took off my front license plate.. checking to see if i have the threads so i can buy the plugs for it..
the threads look like this

my left side has it but my right side dont...
will it still fit for the right side? if not is there a way i can put the threads on the right side?
any advice will help.. thanks in advance!

when i put the plugs on my bumper one side did not have the thread and i used double sided tape to hold the plug in
just pushed it in really hard and it looks flush
later when i took off my front bumper i noticed the thread had been pushed back i popped it back into place and the plugs sit good

The plugs will not fit unless the backing plate that is treaded is on the inside of the bumper. The tabs are too small for the holes in the bumper.
It is pretty easy fix. Just get the backing plate and it slides over two plastic tabs.
If you need me to get the part number let me know.
