Thumbs up Hondata IMG?

Anyone here got one that can give an honest opinion? Putting my engine back together and just thinking about ordering one. Is it worth it?

I definitely think it is worthwile. Comparing my intake temp to someone without one...I can place my hand on the intake after a hard run, it's not comfortable, but I can do it...not so with a car without the IMG.

Get a real Hondata gasket. There are some ebay fakes out there that can melt. Hondata has a reputation to protect so it is worth the extra $30 to get the real thing.

No doubt you should do it. If you can also install the Mugen Fan Switch and thermostat,
reduces heat big time...

I've had mine on for about a year. The intake manifold definitely runs alot cooler than without it. Make sure you re-torque the manifold nuts like the instructions say.

Hondata IMG is worth it if you're already pulling things apart. I wouldn't disassemble the IM just for the purpose though.
