pwjdm struts ftl! i got the chrome ones and after a year they are rusted to hell and rubbing against the fender, sanding them down this week and painting black! hardware was sucky too...

if i could do it all over i would go with the NRG or SOS!

No, the ScienceofSpeed hood dampers are the only ones designed where the bracket has two fixing locations. All others secure with only one bolt per bracket. This causes the bracket to loosen and rotate outwards eventually causing the ball socket on the damper to scratch the fenders.





Check out cars with the NRG and TEIN dampers. Many have fine scratches from this occuring.

Here is a close up of our billet aluminum brackets that are designed to eliminate this problem:
