the s2000 is not the car for you. look elsewhere.

you need to do spend your money on a c5 or c6 corvette. If you can, the 2000 Z06 can be had for s2000 money. Cheap, cheerful power and torque. world beating handling. easy to work on- dead nuts easy to work on- easy to modify- takes to superchargers and nitrous with a much less propensity to grenade. stronger diff not made of glass- unless you're willing to sink many dollars on fixing the weak links in the driveline. finding a "cheap" s2000 will net you fixing other peoples problems at great expense and heart ache. Plus your domestic friends won't make fun of you for driving a honda.

The corvette, without a doubt, is the car you need. If you need top down thrills, the convertible 'vette is the way to go.

good luck.

Amateurs don't use NOS, I seen the way you drive, you've got a heavy foot. You'll blow yourself to pieces

As long as he knows what he's doing with the setup he should be fine.

Lmao it's a quote from the first Fast and Furious movie .

Funny enough, I've started looking at C6s. I'm going to test drive both though.
