hard top
well i got a c wings carbon hardtop and finish is quite nice for how much less it is. There where only a few areas that could use some help as it must be there mold, Right along the top of the windshield where it curves down the sides it was a little notchy looking but some sanding and voila fixed, also right next to the passengers window facing forward on the back side the fibergalss was built up kinda thick and came really close to the window and was not squared off like the other side. well some sanding took care of that also. in the end i should have bought all fibergalss so the price would have been alot less 1800 painted / vs 2500 but in the end it beats a mugen at 3k fiberglass 6K carbon
verdict if your painting the hardtop i see NO reason to buy a authentic for the fact a little work (less that 2 hours) the top will be perfect
also some things I have noticed about exhausts, skunk 2 is hand built here in the U.S. and is quite a bit less than any "high end" manufacture, but yet I consider them "high end". there customer service is awesome and they even have REAL technical support
next is APR vs Voltex mainly just there spoilers... APR has great service and technical support also and are willing to help/build/suggest ideas to help you with your car aero and is half as much voltex and IS wind tunnel tested so dont go there
APR gt200 $550 voltex comparo well over a grand

You can't really compare the cost of the GT200 to any of the standard Voltex used on the S2000 (type II or type III), as both Voltex are larger in dimension to the APR.
A more reasonable comparision is to compare the cost of the APR GT300 to the Voltex type II, since they are more similiar in size. Both are priced around $1300-$1400.

just to keep this tread on topic with the whole knockoff vs real.
the fitment on that NSX kit is disgusting.
I would like to hear peoples experience with authentic ASM, Amuse, Mugen, Spoon, and J's aero.
The picture earlier on this page is from Diez, a member on this sight who has an authentic Amuse front bumper and hardtop. Is that what I can expect for fitment of all aftermarket pieces?

Not from my own car (as I like top-down driving), but one of my friends has a Mugen hardtop that I helped him install. Fitment could not have been better, it fits like OEM and required zero sanding/prep work to install this way.
I've heard horror stories from J's Racing aero parts, waiting for that....
Oh, and in response to the earlier post about the failure of resonators on the earlier J's Racing titanium exhausts -- it happened to me and some other people I know, and as long as you bought the exhaust direct from an authorized vendor, J's was fixing them for free (had to pay shipping).
