K&N.

I installed mine yesterday, and took it out for a drive. The intake sounds awesome, and sounds mean in VTEC.

K&N is proven to make good power and not have heat soak. Comptech looks nice, good sound, not too much power. Don't really know about Injen. If I was you, I'd go with the K&N: Makes power, sounds good and not bad on the pocket.

AEM V1 for Ap1, AEM V2 for AP2

AEM FTW!

We did an independent dyno test of a AEM V2 and a Comptech on an ap1...peak hp was the same and the Comptech made more low to mid-range power.

The V2 works on both the ap1 & ap2. If you get an AEM the v2 is probably the better of the two.

To the OP...do be aware that intakes designed like the AEM and Injen do have a risk of hydrolock if you do not take precautions to prevent water from being injested from rain or from a deep puddle. Not trying to scare you away from those intakes (I have one myself)...but know the risks and how to avoid ruining your motor.
