My right rear hub has two ball joints that need to be replaced. One is the lower and the other is an upper one. I was searching around and no store carries ball joints for the s2k. Does anyone know if other Honda ball joints will fit? It seems that the 90's Honda's had the same part # for the most part. After 2000, every model seems to have their own part # as well. Can any one please help me out?

Why not your local Honda dealership's parts department?

 

Yes, I will call them tomorrow but am afraid of the kind of price they will tell me. I am suspicious that no part number exists for the rear ball joint, and that they may tell me I will have to buy the entire hub assembly with new bushings.

Just wanting to know if other Honda ball joints will fit into the hub??
