Kpro Wideband
I'm interested in using a PLX wideband o2 sensor for my Kpro but need some advice on what I need. Can I just buy one of these?

And if so, which sensor type? Or do I need a controller too, like this?

Will a wideband sensor run in place of one of my existing o2 sensors or will I end up with three total? Lastly, what do I need to do to wire a PLX wideband in place.

you need the wideband and controller and something to read the data with. none of your links worked with me so im not sure.
the wideband can be set up a few different ways, some people choose to always have it installed and run the simulated narrow band to their ecu, or others just to tune with it,etc. im sure the kpro would tell you more info.

I run the modded Kpro with RSX wideband as well as the Wideband from the PLX.
When I was getting this setup done, we found that the PLX wideband does not work properly with the Kpro (voltage reasons?). So I ended up getting the RSX wideband for the Kpro, and kept the PLX one just for the gauge.

I think everyone is over analyzing this.
Why do you want a PLX so much?
Just buy the RSX o2 and call it a day. The Civic one is actually $50 less even.
Here's my reasoning:
When you go tune at the dyno, they will use their own wideband anyway. After adjusting the A/F, timing, etc, they will also correct the offset for your oem o2 according to what they are seeing on the dyno.
Now if you're going to tune yourself, it's a different story.

How did you have the PLX plugged into the Kpro? I've been told using the PLX through the Kpro through the analog ELD input should work fine for datalogging. I just bought the SM-AFR for this very purpose. If you were trying to use the PLX as a primary sensor, that wouldn't work.

If you want a WB for the 00-05, you have to install it seperately and connect it how I referenced earlier.
