It looks fast too!
Here's some numbers after the Gernpipe:
Like i said earlier i had no baseline at this place (tried a different tuner), i think they compared my car with another CR that dynoed before me. Sorry no torque curve
/>/> but that fat mid end between 4 and 5.5k is pretty crazy.
Edit: the CR comparable is not stock. Has ballade sports header, testpipe, intake.

they locked my AEM, so i cannot see what the tune is about or modify it (can't even download logs for street dyno). Drives very well though.
Overall, im a happy camper. Thanks Greg.
I'll do another run when Evasive or Raceline have another dynoday.

That sucks that they locked your tune though. Did they tell you they were going to do that beforehand? I would have found another tuner.
Do you know where your VTEC is engaging? It looks like they set it above 4K.
Would you provide a list of your mods again?
Now that i have my office scanner
This was my last dyno in May 2012:
It's church's dyno so that is probably FLYWHEEL HP/TQ.

From last night:

I believe vtec is at 4100 and i think it can be lower; i think they felt smoothness was more important.
I did not know they would lock the tune...that is a first.
mods are EMS, BC2, CAI, 68mm TB, t1r70EM dual, gernpipe, hondata IMG.

Which CAI do you have? What was the difference in mods between the dyno at Church vs. the new one? Were you tuned on the AEM back then?
Optimal VTEC engagement will give the smoothest engagement. If you can feel the transition at all, then it isn't engaging at the right RPM. However, I'm not sure if the AEM EMS supports a VTEC Window that engages at different RPMs based on load. If it just has a single engagement setting for all loads, then you would have to make a comprimise.
I would definitely raise hell with the new tuner about him locking it. I would demand that he either unlock it, or give a refund.

I have a aem v2 cai.
I had a berk header, berk 63hfc, sos 68mm TB, and tuned on EMS.
Yesterday, I went back to stock header and gernpipe. I now have the S2 TB which is also matched to the IM.
Currently I don't feel vtec kick in unless it kicks in late (insufficient TPS). EMS can trigger vtec based on any conditions desired but since I can't connect my laptop I have no idea what it's doing.

I figured it would be fine for anything in Street Prepared or Modified classes, but I didn't think many S2000's went that route.
Thanks for the info. So you had the BC2 cams for both dyno sessions? Did you have the stock cat, HFC, or TP for the first session?
