I have a 70mm TP and the 3" Megan drift spec on my AP2 and it is loud as all hell, although i love it, especially at 6k-8k. I have to run with the silencer in becuase without it its just craziness. With my setup the car drones from 3k-4k, which was kind of a pain because i used to shift at around 3500. When shifting under 3k and with certain throttle placement i can control the drone. I bought the Megan because i was in the same boat as you, wanted a cheap single. If i had the choice between the two again i would still go with the Megan mainly because of the cheaper price and the look. I think the loudness and droning will be very similar between the two. I like Megan products however for a single exhaust system I'd buy Berk Technologies 3" single if you can live with a header back. I think it sounds great http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eTmBVDc2Bk
