thanks alot i just switch my intake to the stock with the box and pulls way better and feels better now lol where can i get scoop that comes from the stock intake box?

The only way to prevent heatsoak, the same heatsoak you will undoubtedly get even with a stock box, is to install some sort of heat shield.

also according to this thread wrapping your header isn't a complete waste of time.

thanks alot i looked at it but do any one have any pics of it done?

o yea i wanted to ask you guys i got a new top for 80 bucks but it had a rip i fixed it now i need to replace thoe straps where can i get them? and how much is it at stores?

I don't have a comptech intake, but when I needed a replacement lower half for my AEM V2, AEM sent me one without hesitation.. And when I needed parts for my K&N FiPK, K&N sold me the parts I needed through email contact..

They'll sell you a lid and a box, just email the customer service division..

alrite thanks man and i was just about to sell it . do you kno any where i can get the straps thats ribbed to the rail of the soft tops at like now not ordering either
