Myth Busting
Ehhh. Jon Boy is right with a couple of clarifications. The labarynth doesn't do much for sound, the sound wave splitting and cancellation does. The specific backpressure required is based on the cam profile.

Wow 222 whp!? That is a nice number from a stock AP2! But the A/F ratio of 14.5, isn't that running a little too lean?

The thing is, unless you do the base line run right before, there are a lot of factors that come into play that "nullify" the validity of the base run. This is not to discredit your results, but its something that needs to be considered.
cuz i honestly was expecting to lose power not gain power.
So I guess everyone agrees that HKS does make you lose power? I mean I just don't get it. If that's the truth, why would all the vendors selling HKS give a nice paragraph of how HKS will offer greater flow due to less restrictive design? I know their intention of selling but c'mon... that'd just be plain lying. Again, I'm still not 100% sure if HKS does make you lose power. I love its sound and the only thing that's preventing me from buying it is because of this unsolved mystery.

Hello, I'm a newbie with an 07. Where is the best place to get the HKS?
Edit:
Here is another one, price shipped.

Vendors get the description from HKS. There is no one regulating the aftermarket, just look at the Tornado (pos). If it's a fear of power-loss, don't worry about it. If you like the sound, get it.
