Default Need advice on supsension options-replacing shocks

Hi,
I have a set o Neuspeed Sport Springs. My shocks on my S have 120k miles on them. I need to replace them and drop my S at the same time. I have 3 options:

1) Buy a set of slightly used shocks and use the Neuspeeed springs

2) Buy a set of aftermarket shocks (thinking about Koni's but have heard mixed reviews)

3) Buy a set of coilovers and sell the Neuspeed springs. However I don't want to spend more than about $1100-$1200 for a set.

I want to lower my car 1-1.5 inches. I have had coilovers on another car and hated them. I never tracked the car and the ride was really rough. Any ideas? Help is very appreciated.

if you want the dropped look but want to keep ride comfort, count one vote twoards koni. I have the koni/groundcontrol setup on my prelude (DD car) and it rides awesome.

If it was me... I would go with Koni yellow/OEM AP1 springs...

or if you have more budget.

Bilstein PSS9.

Too many crappy coilover companys out there...

pss9 are probably the most comfortable coilover ever and their 9 settings gives a large range of adjustability as well. to give you an idea of how comfortable these are, i ran these at 4/4 on the street with 9 being the softest.
