Default Need a new engine

Hey Gents,

Unfortunately my mechanic forgot to place the oil cap on my s2000 after an oil change service. I did not check my engine until there was severe damage done to the engine. Now my S2000 is not running. I was wondering if anybody knew where I can find a good engine for a reasonable price. I have a black 00 S2k. I love my car to death and i cant stand having her in such state.

That sucks. How did no oilcap cause damage? if some random mechanic did it then I would say to get the company to replace the motor due to their incompetence but if you know the mechanic then that puts you in a bad situation because there is a good chance he will lose his job. If it was an under the table job thenyou are sol. Just keep your eye on the for sale section or call up some local salvage yards.
