It's normal, I had the same 'problem' when I fitted my RPF1's on stock suspension.
Design of the wheels makes a big difference. I have 17" Work Meisters as well and they look like 16" because of the short spokes/fat lip + wheel gap looks a lot worse compared to the stock wheels.

I still think the rear is off. I think if the pre-load isn't set correctly after a suspension installation you can end up with this kind of issue. If the preload was done correctly then I guess it is normal, and perhaps it is just the way the photo is taken or the angle of the vehicle that makes it look odd.

Just a quick update, it was probably the angle of the original picture and it just got off the lift.
Here's another shot after a week or so

The pics are all kind of dark in the area you need to see - top of tire and edge of arch. Maybe give us a measurement? I have a stock set up I could compare your measurements to mine.
