Default Rear View Mirror Wobble Fix

Not sure why this hadn't crossed my mind any sooner, but glad I finally went ahead and attempted the fix. My rear view mirror had been removed and re-installed the last time that I had my windshield replaced and it developed an annoying wobble. I attempted to tighten the lock bolt(screw) on the mirror, but it never seemed to do anything. Originally I had assumed that some part of the mirror assembly had been incorrectly assembled. That wasn't the case.

Decided to order replacement parts for the mirror assembly due to thinking that it was most likely the spring that needed replacing.

Once everything was put back together... Same issue as before! Mirror tightened as much as possible, but the wobble was still there.

Was about to toss in the towel and just resume putting up with it (almost 2 years ), and then the thought crossed my mind that maybe the spring wasn't putting enough pressure on the toothed lock washer when connected to the rear view mirror lug.

Took the mirror assembly apart again and began to reassemble with both springs (new & old).

Once fully assembled, I attached the mirror to the lug on the windshield, crossed my fingers and began to tighten...

It worked! No wobble whatsoever. Feels new

I wasn't able to find a solution when searching, so hopefully this can help someone else!

Parts:
76419-SL4-003 SPRING, HOLDER
76410-SL4-003 BOLT, LOCK (If stripped, which I did due to the fact that loosening the screw done by turning clockwise when attached to windshield)

I wish I had taken photos at the time, however VTEC4-2 posted some great pictures here:

I'll also go ahead and attach the pictures here.
