A 10 year old can tune the VAFC2. Its incredibly easy to tune with. Just fiddle with it for 20 minutes and youll understand how to use it. But you WILL need at least an hour of dyno time WITH wideband afr readings. I saw 8whp with my tune. Left vtec at stock engagement point. Made 212whp on a dynojet, probably be at 220whp right now with my exhaust and a retune.

Yeah good idea. Adding a turbo will tend to need some "computer shit".

Wait, so cars come with a wideband AFR reading or do you have to buy a sensor? Sorry for the noob question.

dyno facilities have widebands that they can pop in your bung hole. or if you were street tuning you could have a plug welded in pre-cat and put your own wideband in there. my other car i have an aem uego (not the most accurate but cheap).

Most dyno shops have a sensor they attach on your exhaust tip that will record AFR's. You can also buy an aftermarket one like AEM to keep track of your AFRs 24/7.

Oh, ok. Is buying an aftermarket sensor more accurate? When you get one, where do you place it?

It will be just as accurate, if not more since your playing it farther up. I would definately put it before the cat on the header. I have the berk header which already has a predilled hole for O2 sensors. Really nice feature to have. Any muffler shop will charge about 50 bucks to have them drill a hole in your header.
