Is there a general Modification Map for dummies?
something that will draw out what mods to do/not do if you are trying to get to a particular ends?

Ex. To eventually go FI, would i be wasting money on I/H/E, gears, or particular ECU piggybacks? Is it different for Turbo vs SC?

I obviously do not have the knowledge, but if someone could do this, then it would be alot easier to decide which sticky threads to concentrate on.

You could make one but it is so individual that it would never work... some people would't mind spending

 

It depends on what you're trying to use your modifications for... track, autocross, illegal street racing, stop light racing soccer moms in minivans, impressing 18 yo boys, etc.
