Default Supra PCV mod?

does anybody have a link to this mod? i searched it and nothing came up from what i saw.

The purpose as to why people have done it in the past if I remember correctly is that the supra one fits, is cheap, and lasts longer. It might help to alleviate the pcv oil smoke issue too for ap1's. I'll do some fishing...

Not much of a 'mod', but many of us have the Turbo Supra PCV on our boosted cars. Works better than our plastic valves and design to handle boost in reverse.

this is why I did the mod. I don't know if it alleviated any oil usage because i only put about 3k miles on the car a year and just change the oil every 4 months or so

The last 2 guys are correct. The supra PVC mod came about because the stock one is not designed to handle boost. I don't think it will really do anything to alleviate oil consumption. You could always switch to a 04-05 valve cover for the redesigned PVC valve.
