i have a 2002 with a berk hfc and no cels, if you've tried the cel fixes/extensions and they don't work, i'd just go back to the oem cat.

To fix a CEL is really simple....

Step 1: Go to autozone (or whoever you like i dont care)
Step 2: By 1 pair of defoulers in the HELP! section (i forget size, but I think it was 18?)
Step 3:Get 1 of the defouler's and with a 1' drill bit, drill out the whole in it.
Step 4: Screw them together
Step 5: Screw this in your test pipe where your O2 sensor goes
Step 6: Reset CEL (let battery drain yada yada, or while your at autozone or wherever rent there code reader and delete it with that, its free)
Step 7: Send me $6 through paypal for solving your problem (optional step)

Total cost- $~4 or so for defouler ($10 if you follow step 7)

Done
Fail

seems like most of the ap2.5 electronic is harder to work around than the run of the mill obd2 tricks.

the emisson, the seat mount and wait until you want an aftermarket steering wheel

I feel for you. I had the same run around. I tried everything from different simulators, anti-foulers, steal wool and differnet test pipes. I had taken my cat on and off so many times that I thought I was going to separate one of the 02 sensor's wires. Finally I went with a Berk 70mm HFC and no cell as of yet. Knock on wood.

Good luck!

^^ yeah... I messed with my cat so much that I feel like I stripped the bolts for every single one of them that it I used for the cat. Not to include the sensor. Oh well... I'm staying with the stock cat now. It still sounds really deep with I/H/E.
