And once you start modding, your aftermarket parts will be lighter than your OEM parts so there is weight reduction involved there (i.e aftermarket exhaust, test pipe)

Do you have the PWJDM intake? I do.
If it makes power, I have yet to feel it. In fact, I think I have lost a little bottom end. It sounds good but thats about it. The people writing all these great reviews are getting the hook up. My car is not any faster now than it was before I installed the intake. Its just louder when I stick my foot in it.
So stop telling people to drop a grand on this intake.
