Default Wideband install?

I recently purchased and aem uego wideband with gauge and the manual says to install it on a 10 degree angle at the least. I gues this stops water from getting into the sensor.

Problem is, my factory secondary o2 boss in my testpipe is 5 degrees at the most.
I plan on going to the track tomorrow. How much damage will it do if i run it so that its horizontal/ maybe 5 degrees downward?

It will only be for 2 days that I have it like this. If its bad for it though, I don't want to take any chances because these things arent cheap

Suggestions????

Thanks
