If I change the color to black, and move it to the middle, that would improve the view. However, there might be a small performance hit when a license plate is installed.

I lived in CO for over 8 years, never EVER had a front license plate. I got pulled over like 2-3 times saying fix it, but never an actual ticket to go with it, so never fixed it . Front plates are dumb.

Ouch! Well, as it is, it's a good design IMO. Any idea what size stack that is? And if it is a size that could just be mounted directly onto the TB?

to me i think it looks great. Also no need to cut up your bumper so if you want to go back to stock or get a new bumper.
I would love to see a high rpm gain intake as well. I have a black car so it wouldnt stick out at all for me.
Having had the PWDJDM intake too i feel my itbs will make up for the mid range so im looking towards intake/cams to help the top out.
Im in for more info/pics as you go through the process.

@s2kreeper - The velocity stack was over 8" in outer diameter and 5" inner diameter. If I put a velocity stack on the TB itself, the torque curve would be very "torque heavy", and would feel week in the higher RPMs. That's why the PWJDM makes so much midrange, since the "power chamber" has that huge expansion in diameter just inches away from the TB. It would also pull in hot / unfiltered air.
@4forall - My intake design would not work with ITB's.
