I think 17x10 +52 will rub both the front and rear without modification to the front and rear bumpers.
949 racing stated several posts ago that to run a 17x10 +52 on the front will require you to remove your fender liner completely and roll and pull the front fender.
The rears do not look promising either with anything more than a 255 tire. Even with a 255 I would think you would need to roll and relocate the bumper tab.
17x9 + 63 front
17x10 + 72 rear
is the max fitment that requires no work. Except with a +63 you may contact the control arm with the wheel rim at full lock. From what I understand you either need a 3mm spacer or someone has proposed that you can shim your steering rack to prevent it from going to full lock to prevent the wheel from hitting the control arm.
I'm still waiting for more pictures of the final wheels mounted on a car before buying.

Every possible combination on 255/40's has been posted. The only one that has tire rub is the 10" +52 up front, as expected. Only under full compression and on the liner, nothing hitting steel.
255/40's on the 10" +52 has some room left out back, not even close to rubbing. Probably just a slight pull for 275's. Waiting on 275's to get here so I can test fit both offsets on the back.
10" +52 backside setting is almost exactly the same as 9" +63 so of course, the control arm clearance in front is about the same. The 10" +52 up front is about as perfect as it can get. 2mm either way or no camber and you would have a lot more rubbing. Dead on perfect race set up and I'm really happy with it. Just like the 9" +36 on the Miata, dead perfect race set up and looks mean as a bonus.

NT05 seems like the only tires that is streetable and in 275/40/17 with the performance we expect. Dunlop Star Spec Z1 is 265 max. RE-11 is 255 max in 17" sizings.
275/40
285/40
295/35
315/35

Hey Emilio, would you entertain the idea of locals being able to test fit various types of tires/rim sizes that you may have in stock to identify the most ideal setup for us? that would be cool

What are the combinations you are trying to decide between?

I'm pretty sure i'm going with the 17x10 +72 in the rear with the 275 tire, but would also like to squeeze a 275 tire in the front with the 17x10. Deciding between the +52 or the +72 with a spacer. Another idea was to get the 17x9 fronts and wait for others to experiment with the 17x10 fronts until i decide to pull the trigger on the 17x10 fronts.
Setup:
-coilovers
-front and rear fenders rolled, very slight pull. The fronts still have the oem lip that isn't flared too too much, at least as much as I could.
-~-3 camber front and rear
-lowered about 1.5 inches front and rear
-stoptech front brakes, which lead to my other question:
-Do both 17x9, the +48 and +63 have the same amount of brake clearance for the stoptech 328 kit meaning that you would use the same MM spacer for each variant?
so...
17x10 +72 275 tire front with spacer or see how feasible 17x10+52 is with current roll/flare
17x10 +72 rear 275 tire
17x9 front
17x10 rear 275 tire
