To address the tire issue, we have agreed upon the following additional verbiage:

"C91, A6, V710, non-DOT, and all un-named <100 treadwear tires will be bumped into Unlimited Class"

Now let's finalize the weight issue...and we should be all set!

One more question......

Weight Reduction.

Will there be points for the removal of interior panels? My car is basically stripped from the seats back and that includes all of the trunk panels as well and sound deadening mats (in the trunk).

The soft top is now removed and I'm running a light weight hard top.

Actually with the way the rules are......I'm right at 11 points myself but I plan to do other modifications this year which will bump me into unlimited so I might just start there so I can keep all of my points instead of having them in 2 separate classes with no chance to place in either.

How will timing and scoring work, when will we have results? Are there going to be separate print outs posted through out the day for Challenge participants?

right now the rule is "0.50 = wider than stock width wheel (8.5") or original front/rear track"

so no points are given from this rule to run 4 rear OEM wheels cos it has OEM width and higher offset, one only gets points if front has wider tires

yeah, OEM rear wheels have a higher offset, but due to width increase, that effectively increases the front track by 18mm....
