We could not have asked for a more beautiful weekend at Buttonwillow raceway. Temps were good and driving was clean!

Jorge Trujillo continues his domination of stock class with a 2:09.924 set on still a stock AP1 staggered tire setup. Awesome driving Jorge!

Street class showed class leader Ryan LaFontaine dropping a new personal best of 2:03.552, but close on his heels was challenge newcomer Kevin Pham with a 2:03.761, followed by another challenge newcomer John Feng with a 2:06.011. Randall Yoo took 4th with a 2:07.919 with veteran Fernando Muga fighting brake issues with a 2:14.209 in 5th.

As expected, mod class was where the fight was, with Kai Moon absolutely dominating with a blistering 1:56.523. Meanwhile a dogfight for 2nd spanned much of the day with Ryan Delgrosso cinching it in the warmth of session 3 with a 1:59.826 edging out Rockstar Garages own Justin Taylor with a 2:00.822. The real surprise in mod was Jacob Mitchell, a veritable virgin to buttonwillow locked up 4th with a smoking 2:01.383 displacing rusty hot-shoe Richard Huangs 2:01.982 who took 5th on 2 year old sun rotted tires. 6th went to Angela Konno with a 2:04.302 while 7th was nabbed by Albert Castro with a 2:05.035 testing out an all new aero package, with Adan Calderon taking 8th with a 2:07.090

Supermod was a one-man-show starring Dylan Huig, dropping a 1:57.191 with Chris “F20Kills” Elders getting sidelined by supercharger issues and being forced to take a DNF.
