I was planning on going, but now I am not confident in my NT01s lasting the 500mi round trip commute + sessions. Have fun out there!

Edit: Maybe I'll look into renting a trailer. We will see.

Writeup by Cevin Burke:

Round 9 at Chuckwalla (CW) was one of the closest battles we have had all year, it felt like Vegas all over again! We had a total of 9 sign ups, but 15 S2000s showed up in support!

Street class had a total of 2 participants, and in second place we have local Michael Guyette defending his home turf with a very brisk 2:07.76, and in first place we have S2K challenge street class king Ryan LaFontaine with a blazing fast 2:05.96! nice driving street class!

In Mod class we had a total of 7 participants, with a very close spread! In 7th place we had Albert Castro with a 2:06.95, in 6th place we have the race suit wielding Angela Konno, who took Albert by a mere 1/10 of a second! She managed a 2:06.81, in 5th place Jacob Mitchel was able to put in a respectable 2:04.315, and only is second time ever at the track. 4th place is occupied by Randy Chen, whose gorgeous Voltex kit S2000 put down a 2:02.781, in 3rd we have 2017 Mod Class Champion Ryan Delgrosso, with a 2:02.397, and in 2nd we have Joseph Jafry, with a 2:02.158, and in 1st place Kevin Burke who was able to wring out a clean 2:01.384 lap in session 2!

Thank you to everyone who came out, and round 10 at Big Willow (December 8th) will be here before you know it! make sure and sign up early!

Racer excuse #227 - gave ride-alongs every session to my co-workers - would have been worth that 1/10th...
