OMG Steve... Here's a lesson for ya: Don't ask people you don't know for any mechanical assistance. I asked this dude to observe the axles while I let the clutch out in first. I asked him to tell me if they were moving. He said they weren't. Ok, then the diff is broke. Well, I go get a new diff and I'm about to drop it off at my house and go back to work but for some reason I decied to check for myself. I put it in first and let it grind away. I got out of the car and discoverd IT'S MY DRIVER SIDE AXLE THAT'S BUSTED!!!ONE!!!!!111


The place I bought it from does not do returns. But to their credit, they did give me the axle which is usually 150. So, I have a spare diff and a 675 buck axle.

Ha ha ha ha... ohhh what a day.

 

List your diff for sale on the FS forum. I'll bet you'll get your $675 back in no time. That was a pretty good price.

I am interested in your diff. I want to do the comptech upgrade, but not trade my MY2004 diff in to do it. On one hand I would like to try autocross which will not allow the 4.57 gears I already have to be installed, on the other hand I have the 4.57 gears and can't stand just looking at them. If I purchase your diff, I will send it in to have the gears installed... PM me if you are interested.
