So should I bother even calling the place, the guy is a very respectable alignment shop.
No alignment is going to come out to 0.000 accuracy. That doesn't really even have any meaning, in this context.

However, what you say he told you doesn't make any sense. I don't know it that's his fault or your fault.

Was there any weight in the car to simulate you and/or why weren't you in the car when he was doing this? The inaccuracy isn't a problem it is his explanation that is worrying. I think it has been established here before that 2 degrees is approx 1/4" toe so that gives you .00375" toe-out on the RR and .0025" toe-in on the LR aka immeasurable.

Ok here is a question, lets say I want to lower the rr about 1/8 " since for some reason now its sitting higher than the lr, how would this affect my alignment?

Research the phrase "corner weights".

I know about corner weighing, the closest reputable shop I know of is like 1.5 hours away, and I dont auto cross the car enough to justify the cost of doing this.

I was not in the car when it was aligned.

(Edit: I'm starting to think the problem is actually with pikkashoe not understanding what he was watching and what he is talking about.) What the hell is this supposed to mean LOL

I will be back to the shop on friday, to get the rear re aligned after I lower the right rear corner .

Ok mr sarcastic,

One if it was that easy then I would do it myself, I dont have 4 different weight scales to weigh the car at each corner, and just lowering the right rear corner doesn't mean the car is corner weighed.

All your replies have been useless. But thanks for the help.

No, mr clueless, but it does mean you are changing the corner weights (whether or not you are measuring it). Hey, you were the one who asked "if I lower one corner of the car, how does it change my alignment?"
