AutoX with Non-Staggered Wheels
I was thinking of going with a non-staggered 17x9 ce28 wheel and a staggered tire. Say, 235f / 255r or 275r... I'll be running a big swaybar and toyo ra-1's. Does anyone run non-staggered wheels for autox and track? Impressions, feedback?
255/275 RAs are the combination I run on CE28 17x9s. I've run 235/275 and 235/255 and the 255/275 w/Saner front bar and big rear wing has proven to be the most neutral.
You'll have to roll the rear fenders to get 275s to fit and you'll increase your overall gearing with the larger overall diameter rears, but it's an awesome setup.

Bump.. to see if anyone has autox'ed with non-staggered wheel setup. I know there are plenty of non-staggered track cars.
I was looking at a set of wheels 17x9 with a 65 offset and planning to run 235/275.

Wow this is an old one.... Anyway I've switched to the nonstaggered 17x9 +63 with 255 all around and it has been working out very well. I do have the comptech SB set to most stiff.
